Plus Sizes

We have received a lot (and I mean A LOT) of e-mails from people who say that they love our patterns but could we not offer them in plus sizes as well. As I said already in this discussion, plus sizes are not really our speciality and we have little experience in that field. But since there is such an incredible demand we’d like to give it a try. Today we added two sizes for the very popular Eva Dress. Please note that these are experimental – we’d like to see how many people download these bigger sizes and especially how they work for them regarding fit etc. So if you’d like to see more plus sizes added to our patterns, please help us out with your reviews, comments and photos!

Kisses,
Kim

I too will be giving this dress a go! Plus size options are not something to fear, in fact, many plus size people prefer to make their own clothes to get a better fit…..and to avoid some of those hideous patterns and colors out on the ready to wear market today. Kudos for making the effort to accommodate more sizes 😀

Thank you very much for sharing the Eva dress with us in plus sizes! However, when i want to download the EU size 48 A4 PDF, i get the A0 PDF, so i can’t print the pattern at home. Would you please upload the pattern in EU size 48 and/or US size 20 in a PDF for A4 printing? I would be very obliged to you, thanks in advance!

Thank you for pointing this out, MainDreams, you are right, we seem to have made a mistake there. Please bear with us while we fix this – we should be able to upload the correct A4-Version within a day.

I just registered so I could download this dress. Just what I needed for an upcoming wedding and I don’t want to wear the one I’ve worn for the last three. Please consider more plus size options! I can’t wait to try this.
Some of your other patterns will have appeal for my daughters (who are plus size, too), so I will download the largest one and size up for them (like the cropped hoodie). Thanks!

I just found your site and love it!! I am also a full body gal and look forward to seeing more plus size patterns added(fingers crossed). I am blessed with having a mom & aunt who can help me with other patterns that currently don’t come in plus size.
Thanks for creating this wonderful site!!

I would also love to see plus sizes on here. Especially “Everywhere Tails” I was so stoked about that pattern, and then found out that the largest is a 16, and I need a 20. Please consider adding plus sizes to that pattern… I would be so eternally grateful???

It is hard to find DIY fashion in the 18/20 sizes, and I am hoping to see the “Paperbag Ensemble Dress” in the 18/20 size as well. It’s such a pretty dress. I keep hoping I will lose weight, but alas I haven’t gotten below an 18 in years…

I have been Practicing my sewing skills by sewing dresses for my toddler grandchild and niece, and I finally feel my skills are brushed up enough to tackle the Eva dress. I am so happy it’s in a 20, and I wish you could do the Paperbag Ensemble Dress also. Thanks for all of your work, and I will post my dress when get it done.

happy to say that like the poster above I too registered specifically for the eva dress , and will shout from the rooftops when there are more options for the larger sizes. I wish that pattern makers would remember that now a days the average female size is a 14..which is like what? an 18 in the world of patterns?
