Since it doesn't say anywhere in the contest description that I have to actually OWN that favourite pair of shoes, I based my design on the ones that I covet the most: a pair of lace stilettos by Coppelia Pique that made the rounds in fashion blogs a couple of months ago. Sadly I never saw them available for purchase anywhere.

I imagine these delicate heels to be worn on a fancy night out but still wanted a garment that can be dressed down.

So here is a sleeveless dress with a narrow waistline and a tulip skirt. For special occasions it can be worn with a fur collar (like in the sketch) and lacey opera gloves to match the shoes. Without these it doubles as a plain but dressy piece that can be combined with tops and accessories in many ways. Pick a nice black fabric and you could easily make this your indispensable LBD!
