This dress was inspired by a purple swiss dot material that I picked up on sale last week. The color made me think of the country fair, cotton candy, and carousels.

The bodice has a boat neckline, little gathered sleeves, and a row of little buttons up the back. The skirt is an a-line with an over layer that is tucked up like a polonaise.
