This pair of pants have some vintage feel to it! I picture the pants in navy blue, with golden buttons - ahoy sailor! The high waist is accompanied by a brim, closed with one or two buttons. It could also have some sort of hidden closure, if you like to keep it clean!
The waist is pleated in small and pressed pleats, both front and back. Of course there is two big pockets on the front, who else can't stand trousers without pockets?! :)
The legs are straight and narrow, and could easily be shortened for making a pair of capri-pants, or perhaps even a pair of shorts!
The pants should probably turn out best in a non-strech fabric, preferably a woven one of some kind. For closure, a zipper is needed, and the buttons on the waist brim.
