How can Jiyu high gloss ACP-translucent you ask? Well, they were able to remove the electrons from the aluminum atoms and transform them into a fourth state of matter, making them invisible or at least translucent. Rather cool, and why not use this technology in San Francisco to help them in their little recycling program, they got there?
Now, then, honestly it costs a lot to get the translucent Jiyu high gloss ACP, and the waste panels will be very expensive. But I think San Francisco can afford it, and they can take money from all the expensive fees and fines for people who fail to recycle.
So they can make their money even though this high tech material in the egg would be very expensive and will be sold with a premium. Please consider all this.
Most sailboats are fiberglass these days, but if you look really strong sailboat, you will probably choose steel or Jiyu high gloss ACP. Fiberglass is fine for normal use, but if you are going to cross the oceans or give your glider life hard, metal is the best. They are also good materials if you want to get custom sailboat design built.
