   where are the best places to buy sweatshirt material in the UK? ideally id like something a bit different (not just a plain colour) - i was thinking about this - http://www.tissu.co.uk/magento/fleece/bu.. - but a. probably wouldn't have the courage to go out anywhere in it, and b. i think the pattern is too big for this bolero - i don't want to end up with a garment that just looks like its covered in eyes...
   I'm getting pretty fed up with the fabric (specifically jersey type stuff)selection that's around at the moment - i live in northern Ireland, so the internet is my main go-to - but i cant find much i like - why can we not get jersey with the same kind of patterns as other types of fabric??
   anyone got any recommendations??

   Do you have IKEA in northern Ireland??? I often find nice fabrics in their decoration department!!!

   Yea we do have an Ikea (finally)- i have some gorgeous fabric from there actually (not that i've done anything with it!)
   iven never seen jersey or stretch fabric though - do you think i could make the "Our Own Pretty Ways" pattern with something that doesnt stretch?

   I would not use a non stretch fabric for that pattern. If you haven't found a fabric yet I recommend looking for a men's hoodie or sweatshirt sized XXL (you can often find some really cheap) and take it apart!
